SUNG Ji-hae 성지혜 成 知 潓<br />
Director SUNG was born in 1964 in Seoul and graduated<br />
from the nationally prestigious Korean Academy of Film<br />
Arts.<br />
She worked as an assistant director for three years and<br />
went to Paris to study film carrying her experiences. The<br />
days she spent in Paris were precious enough to boost her knowledge on film.<br />
She watched a lot of documentaries on film history and received a doctorate<br />
in film by studying French Director, Jean Eustache.<br />
Since she came back to Korea, she has completed two film scripts. One of<br />
them, , was selected to be funded by the<br />
Korean Film Council to mark her debut feature film.<br />
First Feature<br />
So-yeon, who has been studying in Paris for several years, returns to Seoul for summer<br />
vacation. She is drawn to Min-hwan, a divorced man whom she met in Paris, but Minhwan<br />
is non-committal and ambiguous about his feelings toward her. So-yeon meets a<br />
new guy. Jae-hyun, who is deeply into her, but So-yeon still waits for Min-hwan’s call.<br />
She laboriously travels from Seoul to Busan, lugging around her luggage, just so that<br />
she can see Min-hwan.<br />
After the vacation is over, So-yeon returns to Paris.<br />
