Circular type cutters for rotors
must be kept in close limits as
regards their outside diameter,
since changes in diameter will
affect the generated screw profile.
This is why these tools are ground
by the land grinding method.
The blades are radially adjusted by
means of set screws, the width
adjustment is made possible by
the staggered serrations in steps
of 0.25 mm.
The cutting profiles top the rotor
o.d. and generate the entire gap
profile including tip radii and
sealing strips.
To deal with enquiries, we need
workpiece drawings with profile
data. We carry out the computation
of the cutter profiles.
Replacement blades are premachined
with grinding allowance
on the profile and are ground on
the cutting faces.
