CONFERENCE SUMMARY
The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for Photo-Cat Users, Potential
Users, Consultants, Engineers, Regulators, and Scientists to network and update
their understanding of the technology. The intent of the conference is to
communicate experiences, raise questions, dispel myths and identify the current and
future use of the Photo-Cat technology.
The outcome of the Conference will be a greater awareness and competence of
Photo-Cat as it is applied in Municipal, Industrial, and Remediation sectors. The
conference will also quantify the sustainable benefit and the elimination of chemicals
and waste streams.
DATE & TIME
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
Learn from others why you want to consider Photo-Cat in current or future water
projects. Operators and Water Treatment Executives will want to learn about Photo-
Cat’s ability to:
• Reduce DO in effluent for aquifer recharge
• Decrease chlorine demand
• Replace traditional water treatments
• Reduce THMs
• Remove EDC’s
• Purify Chemical Free
• 6+ log removal
• Reduce system complexity
• Reduce footprint
• Eliminate and prevent bromate
• Remote control and sustained durability
• Ceramic membranes
• Permitting / NSF’s
• Triple Barrier Protection
• Find out what progressive utilities are doing with Photo-Cat
• Difference between UV/TiO2 and Photo-Cat
• Provide multi-oxidative and reductive pathways
The emphasis is on experience and capability, from a top level. Summary data will be
presented. For in-depth discussions, networking will be encouraged.
SELECTED TOPICS OF INTEREST
WATER REUSE – SETTING A NEW STANDARD
Are you looking at options to enhance the amount and quality of water you are able to
treat for reuse, with less energy and chemicals? There are significant advances being
made in this area. Learn of new ways to clean water that prevents treatment byproducts
and removes EDC’s.
REVERSE OSMOSIS PRE-TREATMENT–IMPROVED EFFICIENCY
Pre-treatment with Photo-Cat removes contaminants that impede RO performance. This
sets up the RO to do what it does best. Lengthen service intervals and membrane life
with vast improvement in RO efficiency. What are the economic and sustainable factors
showing this improvement? Get a better understanding of how to use Photo-Cat
upstream of the RO.
DRINKING WATER TREATMENT – DESTROY & REMOVE!
Significant technical advances allow chemical free, low energy, long life purification with
little or no maintenance. Only Pure Water is output. Proven in the ground water
remediation sector, Photo-Cat technology can be applied to drinking water treatment
with the desired success. See how it is possible to reduce the complexity of your
treatment process and control it with much greater efficiency yet maintain or decrease
the amount of energy you consume. Are better than detection levels of contaminate
removal possible? See how.
CERAMIC MEMBRANES – KEEP THEM ON STREAM 24/7
Discover how to get continuous 24/7 performance with CERAMIC MEMBRANES.
Achieve the highest flux and longest duty cycle in the industry. Gain understanding from
the most experienced operating ceramic membrane systems in North America.
BROMATE ELIMINATION – STOP CREATING BROMATE
Understand how BROMATE DESTRUCTION and PREVENTING BROMATE
FORMATION is possible with Photo-Cat.
