RELAŢIILE TRANSATLANTICE

That presentation wants to make a survey on the transatlantic
relationship after the Second World War, taking into consideration the time
reference points “1989” and “9/11” 2001.
Firstly, it is presented the contribution of the USA of the
reconstruction of Europe after the Second World War, as a solid basis for
the future partnership between Europe and the United States.
Secondly, there are briefly presented the changes, which have been
made on the international arena and their consequences on the evolutions
from the transatlantic relations.
Finally, will be make some proposals for the improving the
political, economical and military relationship between the United States
and their European allies.
Mediul academic, dar şi cel politic au constatat că disciplina
relaţiilor internaţionale 1 este cea mai dinamică dintre toate disciplinele
universitare, întrucât dinamica vieţii internaţionale este cu totul remarcabilă.
Practic, în fiecare zi, în viaţa internaţională se întâmplă evenimente care pot
avea o importanţă aparte pentru fiecare dintre noi – până la urmă.
În ultimii ani, o temă/care preocupă în mod deosebit politicienii,
mediul academic sau cel jurnalistic/o constituie relaţiile transatlantice. S-a
ajuns să se vorbească în termeni foarte sofisticaţi, foarte tehnicizaţi, precum
ESDI, ESDP, PESC, PESA etc., încât un segment foarte redus din publicul
larg poate înţelege ceea ce vor să prezinte cei care abordează această temă.
Cred că se impune o abordare mai simplă şi directă, pentru a putea
înţelege cum a început colaborarea între cele două ţărmuri ale Atlanticului,
