The Foundation enjoys an objectivity and transparency
founded on its independence: an independence which is
largely due to Foundation’s financial autonomy. This
autonomy is possible thanks to overwhelming generosity
shown by its creator, as well as the continuous hard work
of Foundation’s professionals.
THE FUTURE ON THE HORIZON
We are a Foundation for reading and, therefore, for the
future.
Without education, there is no tomorrow. And without
reading, any educational act is rendered fragile, fake or
impossible.
We can use the act of reading to create responsible,
committed and eager citizens; to strengthen social links
and combat injustice and isolation; to learn that the future
is constructed with words and images, sounds and feelings,
and memories and dreams.
In short, through reading we may succeed in building a
more balanced, open and building a world which
celebrates diversity. And the Fundación Germán Sánchez
Ruipérez is passionately determined to contribute as much
as possible towards achieving this goal.
