Ladies and Gentlemen … children of all ages!
Well – how did we do?
Here is what I have so far:
Our attendance broke 30,000 for the
first time since 2008. at is a increase
of about 2,000 fans!
e odometer on our website rolled
over at 100,000 visits, and is now
reading over 120,000 total visits!
Our advertising was first rate, and
the show was fantastic! Roger Berge
brought in e Chicago Boyz for the first
time ever, and they were an
overwhelming success!
e Extreme Motorcycle Show was
just unbelievable! Fans told us that
either of those acts alone was worth the
price of admission!
Floor event sales were strong, and the
clowns have warned me that we will
need more photo covers for next year.
Speaking of the clowns, did you catch
their new cannon skit? Years in the
making – it looks like Imperial
Competition material to me!
Sales were strong! Some of the
novelty sales people got home early
because there was not a light-up toy left
in the house Sunday afternoon!
Inflatables, snow cones and cotton
candy, and wearable sales looked brisk
too!
Finally, there were about 200 happy
(and tired) faces at the After Circus
Party!
Despite being “e hardest fun we
ever had!” we all had
a good time doing John Davenport
something big and
exciting together! at’s just the way we
are at Osman Shrine!
So, whether you sold, or directed, or
assembled, or inflated, or repaired, or
gazed into flashbulbs, or yelled “Getem-here!”
or “Follow Me!” you were a
part of what Osman Shrine does best!
Whatever you did, wherever you
were, we needed your help, and OUR
circus would not have been the same
without YOU!
anks for another great year!
The recliners were popular between shows.
Here Bruce Thomas takes a load off.
Pam Lange takes a break from
ushering to ride an elephant!
The Seat Count was ... er ... thirty
thousand and three! Sue Wilson turns in a
few late ticket stubs to John Davenport at
the After-Circus party.
