Dear Auxiliary Members and Friends of
the Auxiliary,
It was really great to see so many
Osman Womens Auxiliary Members
working at the Shrine Circus! It is always
such a fun event, and it is so rewarding to
see the excitement and joy on the faces of
all those children! anks for
volunteering your time!
Our first social event for 2013 was
wonderful! We were pleased so many of
Elizabeth Ekholm, Pati Kachel, and Jan
Kellogg.

you attended and brought guests. is
was our event that included children, and
it was fun to have the grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great niece at the
event. e lunch was delicious, and our
guest presenter was very entertaining. Pati
Kachel, a professional story teller,
portrayed Miss Beatrix Potter. With her
English accent, she made us feel like we
were in England while she told the
remarkable life story of Beatrix Potter.
She also read a Beatrix Potter story to the
children. A very special “thank you” to
Elizabeth Ekholm and Jan Kellogg for
planning and hosting this very delightful
event as well as donating the Beatrix
Potter tea set and Beatrix Potter book for
the raffle items.
It is just
amazing that we
keep receiving such
wonderful toys for
the children at
Shriners Hospital
for Children – Twin Cities. is past
week, we received many fabulous stuffed
animals and toys from the Alexandria
Shrine Club, Bev West, Ellen Maine and
Jennifer Hill. ank you all so much. We
really appreciate receiving all these toys,
and of course, the children at our
Hospital love them! In addition to the
stuffed animals, Bev West also brought us
many pop tabs which she and her coworkers
have been collecting over the past
year. ank you to everyone who
continues to collect pop tabs for us. You
are all making a difference.
e Womens General Auxiliary had
their 90th Annual Meeting. Delegates
