Membership / Mentoring Greetings Nobles and Ladies Summer is fleeting by and the kids are going back to school. (After 24 years of kids at home, Sharon and I are empty nesters, Wow!) Our Ill. Sir Frank Spevak II reminds us to keep seeking good men to become Osman Shriners! Invite them to one of our upcoming events such as the upcoming Shrine Sunday Fun Day on Sunday, Sept. 16th, the upcoming “Chili Cookoff” on Saturday, Oct. 6th at the warehouse! Prizes will be awarded for best chili! Invite potential Nobles to join us tailgating prior to the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher home football game, and to attend the always exciting Hufli dinner on Monday, Oct. 29th. Don’t be shy, invite potential members that may not even yet be a Mason but who you think would be great Masons and Shriners, someday! Let them experience the fun we have as members of a great fraternity, with the goal to help children, through our hospitals. I would also like to encourage all Osman Nobles to follow a few simple and easy mentoring guidelines. If you are a first or second line signer on a Nobles petition, follow up with that new Noble. Invite him and his family to attend our many social events. Offer to pick that Noble up and drive together to an event or stated meeting. We all appreciate those personal phone calls of concern and reminders. Remember … Together Everyone Achieves More Go TEAM! All interested Nobles, Ladies, children, friends and family are invited to golf 9 holes, golf beginning approx. 2 PM A good time was had by all those that have been golfing.
