Directors Staff
Greetings Nobles,
We just returned
from the MSA in
Grand Forks, ND,
hosted by Kem temple.
There were fourteen
temples represented
Ron Clarstrom and everyone enjoyed
the festivities.
Director’s Staff put on a Camel
Herders degree with twenty-three
Gary Ness, Gene Dunne, Mike Nehm, Bill
Henry, Kent Swedberg and Ron Clarstrom
getting ready to present the Camel Herders
degree to 23 candidates, some from other
Temples.
Hauling in the camel.
candidates some from other temples.
Everybody enjoyed it. A special thanks
to Steve Hoyer and Art Lemke from the
Mighty Mites for their assistance.
Another note of thanks to Mr. Tom
Wurdeman who at one time owned
Wurdeman Piano Co. who
tunes and repairs calliopes. He
met with Kent Swedberg at the
warehouse and performed some
maintenance to our calliope at
no charge. His father installed it
in the original Osman vehicle.
We regret to inform you that
Mr. Gene Dunne and his wife
Marilyn are leaving this area for
San Diego, Ca. where they once
lived. This came about rather
quickly and they will be gone
by the end of September. Gene
has been Directors Staff
treasurer for many years.
Our August 20th dinner
meeting at DeGidio’s with
thirty plus in attendance was a great
send off for Gene and Marilyn. Thank
you Gene for all your dedication and
hard work for Osman and the Director’s
Staff. Good Luck and God bless.
Hope to see you at the events. Have
a great month.
Keep on Rollin' with the
Director's Staff
Ron Clarstrom
Makenna Thorsen, 3, or Taylors Falls, along with
Judyu Peterson got “nosed” by Dizzie the clown at
the Chisago County Fair. Dizzie represents the
Osman Shrnine Circus in support of Shriners
Hospitals for Children. A screenling clinic for
children with bone, muscle, joint or other oblems
was held July 28 in Rush City.
Even a shower didn’t help.
We are looking for new
members that will be
available to contribute
and participate in
parades and other
Clowning events.
We will teach you
everything you will
need to know to
become a clown.
