Greetings Nobles and
Ladies,
Can you believe it, the
summer is winding
down. What a HOT
summer for parades.
We are all in need of
Art Pavlish rest and refreshment
after this parade season.
We had an awesome night for the
RASC picnic in June, I think all that
attended had a great time and the food
was delicious.
There was also a great attendance at
the Glen Paulin golf outing, thanks to
Dick Thompson and John Brockman
who set it up! It was a very nice day.
Thanks to everyone who attended these
two outings!
It was nice to see so many of you at
Midwest in Grand Forks. Two great
parades and some very interesting fun
times and Oases!

programs for the Shrine Club. We are
starting off with a wine tasting on
Wednesday, September 5th at the
Rochester Event Center. It will be
similar to last year's event and include
some of that rest and refreshment I
mentioned before. Bring your ladies
out for a fun evening.
October 3rd we will have a RASC
board meeting at the Clarion Inn and
kick off our semi-annual fund raiser of
Herberger Coupon Booklets.
October 29th we will again partake
in the Hufli at the Osman Shrine
Center. November 7th is our annual
meeting and election of officers.
Lastly in December we will have our
Christmas Ball on Friday December
21st. Please mark your calendars now.

7:30 PM - Door Prizes, Hors d'oeuvres,
Free Parking, Cash Bar.
Tickets are available for $10.00 per
person. Bring your ladies for a relaxing
get together. Hors d'oeuvres are being
catered by Canadian Honker.

acknowledgement to those that
continue to support our Shrine.
This month I would like to recognize
Illustrious Sirs Dick Thompson and
John Brockman for their fine
work in getting the Glen Paulin Golf
Outing organized. Nice job Ill. Sirs!
FALL FUNDRAISER - HERBERGER
COUPON BOOKS
Nobles, the Herberger coupon books
are available. Two booklets are being
mailed today to members of RASC.
The booklets cost $5.00 each. RASC
gets to keep all monies collected. If you
need more than two booklets, let me
know. We sold over two hundred books
this spring with a revenue of $1,448.67
for RASC!! Let’s shoot for bringing in
$2,000.00 for this fall's campaign. The
Community Day is November 9-10.

MEMBERSHIP
Did you know RASC has 129
members of which 113 are paid up for
2012. We are always looking for
additional members to join the social
activities of the Rochester Area Shrine
Club. If you know of anyone not on
the list who would enjoy being a
member of RASC please invite them to
join! Our September event would be a
wonderful opportunity to invite them.
If they would like to become members,
they can join by paying annual dues of
$15.00 which goes towards supporting
our social activities.
