Greetings Nobles & Ladies!
Chang just returned from his 31st
Midwest session. It was a great time in
Grand Forks as we were reunited with
many of our Shrine friends. We were
well received in both parades down the
street to East Grand Forks where a nice
Oasis waited us. Several nobles from the
Dragon Patrol are now experienced
Camel Herders, having been fully
trained.
Eleven of us (right) attended
Midwest, and we had some help from
Nobles Gary Winter, Sean Gardiner,
Mike Nehm, and Al Christofk. Thanks

After returning home
from Midwest, Chang had a
parade (our 23rd this year) at
Kasson scheduled for the next day.
Before the parade the rain was on and
off, no rain as the parade started but
halfway through it
started again. The
boys got a bit wet
as did Chang.
The
committee for the
30 year Dragon
book met this
week, We
continue to
proceed on the
progress. We're
finding out this is
a major
undertaking!
We continue to review our
cart and are taking donations
for our cart fund. Thank you to
all who have contributed!
Truck repairs - Noble Doug Brick
informed the group he
contacted Jeff Hartson who
repairs rock chips in
windshields. He repaired the
chip that was starting to
crack. He was happy to do
this for free saying "Thanks
for all the good work you
guys do". A thank you was
sent to Jeff. (The
windshield looks great!)
Our sympathies and
prayers to Noble Len Hislop on the
death of his daughter Linda McCarthy
on Aug 25th.
