The Chief’s Corner
MSA is now behind
us and we did have a
great time. I would like
to thank all the Nobles
and Ladies who did
attend MSA. I would
also like to thank Rich,
Jerry, Mike and all of Gary Winter
the Potentate Aides and
thanks to everyone who helped. Huge
events like this don’t just happen unless
a lot of people cooperate. Thank you.
We did have our units in the
competition and did take home some
hardware. Congratulations to all for a
fine Job.
The annual Osman/Masonic Family
Picnic was a success at the warehouse.
We had a lot of people who enjoyed the
games and the great food. As always
everyone did a nice job of setting up
and then cleaning up. The Nomads did
a great job at running the concession
wagon.
We have one more Parade left this
season. River Falls Wisconsin on
Saturday September 29th Line-up at
10:30 AM and Step-off at 11:00 AM.
Oasis is at the Woodwinds Restaurant
starting at 8:30 AM. The start of the
Parade is only 1/2 of a block from the
Oasis. Let’s all turn out for the last
parade of the season.
We will have a Ceremonial at Garnet
Lodge on October 20th. Let’s have a lot
of candidates for this Ceremonial.
Our annual Hufli Turkey Dinner is
October 29th (start setting up your
table for this dinner).
Club and Unit Meeting on
November 13th at the Osman Event
Center.

Mighty Mites
Greetings from the
award winning Mighty
Mites. Once again one of
our champion drivers
skated very close to first
place glory at the MSA
obstacle course. Dave
Roussopoulos dazzled the
Tim Gangnon crowds at the MSA with a
champion performance
but sadly took second place. Nice job, Dave

helping us at a
recent parade
when GPS
problems delayed
the arrival of our
trailer and crew.

and by the way rumor
has it you were a natural
behind the wheel.
We recently realized
that we have missed the
opportunity to
recognize true
mediocrity in one of
our own. Art Lemke
has for year’s expounded
greatness to all Mighty Mites (even though
no one cared). So during the River Falls
parade Art will be honored as the Mighty
Mites perform their high risk maneuvers in a
less than mediocre fashion. So let’s hear it for
our own Purveyor of wisdom and a truly
mediocre guy.
Remember to be safe as the parade season
wanes to a close.
