This lesson allows you to look into the importance of meaningful relationships<br />

established over time. Discover how love entails sacrifice. You must aim to:<br />

1. Draw out the message of a song listened to.<br />

2. Compare and contrast the emotion of the song and the poem.<br />

3. Express differing views on when loveis worth fighting for.<br />

4. Establish a familiar ground on tribal culture.<br />

5. Use information presented in acreation story to infer, to evaluate, and to express<br />

critical ideas.<br />

6. Determine the purpose of irony in a story.<br />

7. Narrow a topic to manage the selection of information from available search<br />

engines or tools in the library.<br />

8. Create a travelogue.<br />

9. Use varied verb complementation forms.<br />

10. Compose a song.<br />

11. Express creatively perspectives on a significant human experience drawn out<br />

from the discussions.<br />

YOUR INITIAL TASKS<br />

Task 1.Sit Back, Relax, and Relish the Music<br />

There are a lot of songs that take you somewhere back to your past. It may be a<br />

past experience from your life or a past experience from a story you have seen in a film<br />

or you have read from a book. Songs may even bring you back from the stories told to<br />

you by a family member or a close friend.<br />

Listen to the song (and glance at its lyrics) and you may:<br />

1. Take down words that caught your attention;<br />

2. Draw images which you could associate with the song;<br />

3. Write big words which may represent the emotion caught by the song;<br />

4. Enumerate as many feelings that the song may draw out from you; and,<br />

5. Write your responses in your notebook.<br />
