Choco & Wine Festival
Brtonigla-Verteneglio, 15.02.
Passionate chocolate lovers always on the quest for more in
the sweet world of chocolate tastes and flavours are invited
to the second edition of Choco & Wine Fest in Brtonigla,
revealing the new trends of pairing chocolate with wine to
its visitors. All events will be marked by a profusion of oenological
and gastronomic tastes, ranging from premium wines
and olive oils to cheese, honey and lavender, paired with the
main asset of the festival - chocolate. Brtonigla, host of the
festival, is a well-known and recognized oenological destination.
Accounting for over 10 percent of the Istrian wine
production, Brtonigla is the first Istrian member of the Città
del vino (Towns of Wine) international association. The 4th
Brtonigla Adventure Trekk, a sports program attracting every
year over 250 participants from Italy, Slovenia and Croatia,
will also be held in the framework of the festival. This date
was purposefully chosen for the race to show that sports
and chocolate go together. A variety of workshops teaching
decorative drawing with chocolate and wine will be organized,
as well as lectures on the effect of chocolate on diet,
its application in wellness programs, presentations through
different pairings, tastings and a cooking show.

Schokoliebhaber, die immer auf der Suche nach
Mehr sind in der Welt des Schokoladengeschmacks und der
Düfte, zum 2. Schoko- und Weinfest ein, daß seinen Gästen
neue Trends der Verschmelzung von Schokolade und Wein
präsentiert. Alle Veranstaltungen stehen im Zeichen der
Vielfalt an önogastronomischen Geschmäckern. Weine der
Spitzenqualität, Olivenöl, Käse, Honig und Lavendel werden
mit dem Hauptrumpf des Festivals vereint - der Schokolade.
Die Stadt Brtonigla, der Gastgeber des festivals, ist ein
wohlbekanntes und anerkanntes önologisches Reiseziel. Es
ist das erste Mitglied des internationalen Verbandes Città
del vino (Städte des Weines), und ist für mehr als der gesamten
Weinherstellung in Istrien verantwortlich. Im Rahmen
des Festivals findet auch das 4. Brtonigla Adventure Trekk
statt, ein Sportprogramm das jedes Jahr mehr als 250 Teilnehmer
aus ganz Italien, Slowenien und Kroatien anlockt.
Eben diesen Tag hat man ausgewählt um zu zeigen das
Sport und Schokolade sehr wohl zueinander passen. Dazu
werden auch zahlreiche Workshops organisiert, unter anderem
Malen mit Schokolade und Wein, Vorlesungen über den
Einfluß der Schokolade in der Ernährung, die Anwendung in
Wellness-Programmen, Präsentationen durch verschiedene
Verschmelzungen, Verkostungen, sowie eine Kochshow.
