Flexible connection<br />

■ Benefit<br />

The flexible connection ensures that there is a fast and direct<br />

connection between the input/output modules of the SIMATIC<br />

S7-<strong>300</strong> and the individual elements in the switchgear cabi<strong>net</strong>.<br />

Single cores aleady attached reduce wiring overheads.<br />

• Individual cores can be routed directly to each element in the<br />

control cabi<strong>net</strong>.<br />

• Higher currents are possible usin g a larger cross-section, with<br />

a smaller voltage drop.<br />

• Reduction in the wiring overhead through simple plugging-on<br />

of the preassembled cable onto the I/O module<br />
