■ Overview
• Interface between a maximum of 3 absolute position encoders
(SSI) and the CPU.
• To provide the position-encoder values for subsequent processing
in the STEP 7 program.
• Enables the programmable controller’s direct response to
encoder values in moving systems.
Note:
SIMODRIVE Sensor/Motion Connect 500 feature positionmeasuring
systems and preassembled connecting cables
for counting and positioning functions.
