Daily Schedule A routine for your daily activities will be developed. Physical, speech and occupational therapy sessions are available seven days a week, and the minimum expectation for program participation is that you participate in therapy three hours per day, five days a week, or a minimum of 15 hours per week. Therapy schedules are established by the individual therapists and are posted on the units. Services available We have a variety of services available to you during your stay on the rehabilitation unit. Some services are provided on-site while others are provided on a referral basis. Examples 6
of services that are provided on-site include nutrition services, foreign language interpreter services, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, neuro-psychological services, durable medical equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, hospital bed, non-custom orthotics, etc.) and assistive technology to modify your feeding utensils. If you feel you need a service that is not being provided, please ask your nurse, social worker, or therapist. Although we provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, some services may be provided by outside partners upon discharge. Examples of these services include, but are not limited to, custom prosthetics and orthotics, vocational rehabilitation, driver’s assessment, sexual counseling and smoking cessation support. 7
