Scott Holland Scholarship Benefit
The Scott Holland Scholarship “Reach for the Stars” Foundation benefit
was held on Saturday, August 9, 2008, at the Lorain County
Airport to honor the life and memory of Scott Holland ‘02.
All proceeds will benefit the Scott Holland Scholarship Fund which
will award its first Scholarship in the fall.

Bob Bowl II
On October 18, 2008, the Second Annual Bob Bowl (flag football
game, dinner, and silent auction) will be held in Bethesda, MD,
with proceeds going towards the Gandolfo Family Scholarship
Fund. It is the hope that after this year’s fundraiser, the scholarship
will be fully endowed, enabling the family to award an EC
student The Gandolfo Scholarship next year.

REUNION NEWS
1958 - 50 years - EC Class of 1958 will
celebrate their reunion Homecoming
weekend September 26-28, 2008. Friday
night tailgate at the football game,
snacks & refreshments provided. A dinner
reception will be Saturday night at the
Rose Café at Lakeview Beach in Lorain
starting at 6:00p.m. For anyone interested,
the class will meet Sunday at 11:00a.m.
for brunch also at the Rose Café. For

1968 - 40 years- The EC Class of 1968
celebrated their reunion on Friday, August
1, 2008, at the Columbian Club. Dinner
with entertainment and a cash bar was
held on Saturday August 2, 2008, at the
Knights of Columbus Hall.
1978 - 30 years - Plans are underway for
Homecoming weekend, September 26-
28, 2008. Friday night tailgate at the football
game, snacks & refreshments provided.
Anyone interested in golfing on Saturday
morning can register with the Development
Office to golf in the Annual EC
1978 (cont’d) Golf Classic. On Saturday
evening, September 27th, a celebration will
be held from 6-11 pm. in a private room at
Quaker Steak & Lube. Cost is $40 per person
which includes four wing/pasta/salad
bar buffet and two drink tickets (cash bar
after tickets). Sunday, September 28th, we
will attend noon mass-TBA. For more information,
