<strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> cutters may use these frequencies to communicate with Navy<br />

harbor control officials when required. 2716 kHz is normally used by<br />

the Navy as an MF warning net in or near established harbors. Unless<br />

otherwise directed, all ships in harbor will guard or make guardship<br />

arrangements for this frequency.<br />

A09.01 MARITIME MOBILE SHIP/SHORE CALLING AND WORKING FREQUENCIES<br />

(100HA1A)<br />

This circuit is available to all <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> ships and aircraft for<br />

ship-to-shore CW communications. <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> <strong>Coast</strong> Stations (CALL),<br />

and National or International coast stations guarding the ship calling<br />

bands will reply on their authorized coast station working frequencies.<br />

<strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> ships and aircraft shall shift to an authorized working<br />

frequency after communications has been established on the calling<br />

frequencies. <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> coast station working frequencies are listed<br />

in circuits A10 or A11.<br />
