This circuit is controlled by Commander, Atlantic Area and is available
to all ships and aircraft for voice communications. Additionally,
these frequencies when interconnected with the coast station land
telephone system are available to all commands for the exchange of SAR,
operational, and administrative matters that require a timely person
to person exchange of information. Ships and aircraft are authorized
to use the coast station frequencies when directed by the authorized
coast station and a valid reason exists for simplex operations.
