for frequency assignment shall be submitted to the Commandant
(G-TMM). Items enumerated in paragraph 1. above should be
included; a letter of concurrence from the local civil
agency having the requirement for Coast Guard participation in
the net should accompany such requests. The
provisions of this paragraph apply in all cases where the
equipment is being operated by Coast Guard personnel or when
Coast Guard call signs are used to identify the transmissions
made. Necessary coordination with the FCC, which authorizes
the use of frequencies to local government agencies, will be
initiated by Commandant (G-TTM).
