NOTE: Many of the frequencies in this annex are shared and assigned for<br />

use by other Federal Government agencies and on occasion Non-government<br />

land operations throughout the United States and Possessions (<strong>US</strong>&P) and<br />

therefore, are not available for exclusive use by the <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong><br />

without prior authorization. Accordingly, all requests for frequencies<br />

to satisfy new operational requirements should be specified by band;<br />

i.e. 30-50 MHz, 162-174 MHz or 406.1-420 MHz, and the request submitted<br />

to the COMDT (G-TTM) IAW Chapter 4 where the frequencies will be<br />

selected and the proper authorization obtained.<br />
