L09 EMERGENCY <strong>US</strong>E OF NON-FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FREQUENCIES<br />

L09.01 COAST GUARD UNITS - NON-FEDERAL GOVERNMENT STATIONS.<br />

CG units, in emergency situations, may utilize any frequency authorized<br />

to a non-federal government radio station operating under Part 90 of the<br />

FCC Rules and Regulations when such use is necessary for communications<br />

with non-federal government stations and is directly related to the<br />

emergency at hand. Such use is subject to the following conditions:<br />

a. The non-government licensee has given verbal or written<br />

concurrence.<br />

b. Operations are conducted in accordance with the FCC Rules<br />

and Regulations.<br />

c. Use in restricted to the service area and station<br />

authorization of the licensee.<br />

d. All operations are under the direct control of the<br />

licensee and shall be immediately terminated when<br />

directed by the licensee.<br />

e. Operations do not exceed 60 days.<br />

f. A written report of each such use shall be submitted to<br />

to the COMDT (G-TTM).<br />

L10.01 NATIONAL STRIKE FORCE TRANSPORTABLE RADIO TELEPHONE NET<br />

(16K3E/16KF2D)<br />

Mobile Command Post Transmit 168.35 MHz<br />

Telephone Interface Transmit 163.1 MHz<br />

These frequencies are for short term itinerant use in support of<br />

National Strike Force Mobile Command Posts. These frequencies are<br />

authorized for transportable fixed use throughout the <strong>US</strong>P on a shared,<br />

non-priority basis with other Federal Government agencies. Power is<br />

limited to 30 watts.<br />
