Interrogating Station: Miami (NMA), San Francisco (NMC)<br />

These frequencies are available to ship stations for oceanographic data<br />

transmissions. They may also be used by buoy stations for oceanographic<br />

data transmissions and by stations interrogating these buoys. Use of<br />

these frequencies requires specific authority by the Commandant.<br />

The following non-government intership frequencies may be used by<br />

<strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> ships to communicate with non-<strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> ships only when<br />

required. The carrier frequency in parenthesis is applicable to SSB<br />

equipments only, and is located 1.4 kHz below the assigned frequency.<br />
