500 CW/MCW - International radiotelegraphy distress and calling.<br />

512 CW - International radiotelegraphy supplementary<br />

calling frequency for ships and reply by<br />

coast stations when 500 kHz is occupied by<br />

distress traffic.<br />

2183.4 (2182) V - International radiotelephony distress and<br />

calling. Units with SSB equipments dial<br />

2183.4 (2182) kHz and use 2K8H3E and/or<br />

2K8J3E emission.<br />

2192.4 (2191) V - International supplementary radio telephony<br />

calling frequency (2K8J3E) in areas of heavy<br />

usage of 2182 kHz.<br />

4126.4 (4125) V - The carrier frequencies 4125 kHz and 6215 kHz<br />

are used to supplement the carrier frequency<br />

of 2182 kHz for distress and safety purposes<br />

and for call and reply. These frequencies<br />

are also used for distress and safety traffic<br />

by radiotelephony. The carrier frequency<br />

4125 kHz may be used by aircraft stations to<br />

communicate with stations of the maritime<br />

mobile service for distress and safety purposes.<br />

8364 CW/MCW International survivor craft stations<br />

frequency for communications relating to SAR<br />

with stations of the Maritime and<br />

Aeronautical services.<br />

121.5 MHz V / EPIRB International aeronautical emergency<br />

frequency for VHF-AM band also EPIRB and ELT<br />

frequency.<br />

156.525 MHz DSC - International Digital Selective Calling (DSC)<br />

channel for Distress, Safety and Calling purposes.<br />

156.8 MHz V - Distress, safety and calling channel for the<br />

(Ch. 16) - Maritime mobile VHF-FM band.<br />

243.0 MHz V / EPIRB - International UHF-AM survival craft frequency<br />

and U.S. Military common emergency channel.<br />

Also EPIRB and ELT frequency.<br />

40.5 MHz V - Military joint common frequency for the<br />

VHF-FM (30-88 MHz) band.<br />

406.025 MHz EPIRB - COPAS-SARSAT satellite EPIRB frequency.<br />
