A request has been submitted by John Frankovich on behalf <strong>of</strong> Jungo Land and Investments, fnc. to<br />
extend the time limit to commence operations for.the Conditional Use Permii application UH-07-05.<br />
This Conditional Use Permit application was approved by the Regional Planning Commission April<br />
12,2007. Per <strong>Humboldt</strong> <strong>County</strong> Code 517.58.090, exrension reguests are alle'vlsd for good cause.<br />
The Regional Plannin g Department is recommneding that the Regional Planning Commisison find<br />
that Jungo Land has shown good cause due to facts contained in Table l, on pages 1-3, <strong>of</strong> the letter<br />
daied January L9,2010 (|IDEP Air Quality Permittrng Process; Waste l,{anagement Permitting<br />
Process; and Stormwater Permitring Process). fn adfitionr good casue is shown due to the facts<br />
contained on page 2o paragraph 3 <strong>of</strong> tle January 19, 2010 letter regarding permitting activities with<br />
the Union Pacific Railroad. Staff recommends approval <strong>of</strong> this request for a five-year extension.<br />
This extension would expire AWil12,20L5.<br />
