Buses replacing trains
The first bus replacements begins on Wednesday
26 December 2012:
To Waikanae:
Departs Wellington at 6.14am
To Wellington:
Departs Waikanae at 6.00am
Train services will resume on 3 January 2013.
Cycles, other than folding cycles cannot be carried on buses
replacing trains.
SuperGoLD
SuperGold card holders can travel free on Weekdays 9.00am – 3.00pm,
and after 6.30pm, all day on weekends and public holidays.
Over the Christmas/New Year holiday period when special timetables
operate these conditions still apply.
SuperGold card holders can travel free on 25, 26 December 2012
and 1, 2 January 2013.
