Planning your journey<br />
We have made <strong>some</strong> suggestions below as <strong>to</strong> which particular<br />
timetabled public bus <strong>services</strong> and transfers between them may<br />
best suit your travel needs. You should however plan your journey<br />
at www.metlink.org.nz, in case there are other options more suited<br />
<strong>to</strong> you. Journey Planner information in regards <strong>to</strong> new and<br />
changed <strong>services</strong> will be available from 7 January 2013.<br />
Information on changed, new and discontinued<br />
<strong>school</strong> bus <strong>services</strong><br />
The following information is presented by <strong>school</strong>, but in many<br />
cases <strong>school</strong> buses are shared between different <strong>school</strong>s. Where<br />
this is so the core information is duplicated but <strong>some</strong> details may<br />
be slightly different – therefore please make sure you look at<br />
information specific <strong>to</strong> your <strong>school</strong>.
Heretaunga<br />
College<br />
Runciman <strong>school</strong> bus routes that are not changing:<br />
• 907 Gillespies Road – Heretaunga College<br />
• 927 Te Marua – Heretaunga College<br />
• 991 Heretaunga College – Te Marua<br />
• Ministry of Education <strong>services</strong> from Wainuiomata,<br />
Whitemans Valley, Mangaroa or Akatarawa<br />
Routes <strong>to</strong> be discontinued at the end of 2012<br />

Transport Options<br />
• The morning service will continue unchanged;<br />
students arrive at Heretaunga College at<br />
8:26am.<br />
• The afternoon <strong>services</strong> from Upper Hutt College<br />
and from Heretaunga College will now be<br />
combined. This service will pick up students at<br />
Heretaunga College at 3:35pm.<br />
* Note <strong>school</strong> route 954 is a shared service with Maids<strong>to</strong>ne<br />
Intermediate and Heretaunga College.<br />
• The current timetable and <strong>school</strong> bus routes<br />
have been changed, with Heretaunga College<br />
added as a <strong>school</strong> serviced by this <strong>school</strong> route.<br />
• The morning service will commence at S<strong>to</strong>kes<br />
Valley Terminus - Rakau Grove at 8:10 am,<br />
arriving at Heretaunga College at 8:30am.<br />
• The afternoon service will commence at<br />
Maids<strong>to</strong>ne Intermediate at 3:15pm, arriving at<br />
Heretaunga College at 3:20pm.
