a Repeat these operations on the right side of the vehicle.
AUTOMATIC PARKING BRAKE

a Fit the component jack with a shim, under the left
spring cup.
a Mark the position where the left spring is fitted.
a Remove the left shock absorber lower mounting (2)
using a long socket.
a Put aside the left shock absorber lower mounting.
a Remove the component jack.

a Remove both mounting bolts (3) from the automatic
parking brake control unit support.
a Take out the automatic parking brake control unit
downwards.
a Disconnect the automatic parking brake control unit
wiring (4) .
a Hang the automatic parking brake control unit on the
rear axle.
a Remove the left spring and its supports.
