FRONT AXLE COMPONENTS
Front driveshaft lower arm: Removal - Refitting

- the lower ball joint,
- the height sensor ball joint (if fitted to the vehicle).
a Remove:
- the lower arm front and rear bolts (4) ,
- the lower arm.
REFITTING
a Be sure to replace the sub-frame and arm mountings.
a Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

a Remove:
- the front wheel concerned (see 35A, Wheels and
tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) ,
- the wheel arch protectors,
- the engine undertray,
- the side stiffener lower bolts (1) ,
- the radiator cross member rear nuts,
- the radiator cross member front bolts (2) ,
- the radiator cross member.
a Unpick the wheel speed sensor harness.
a Disconnect the wheel sensor connector in the wheel
arch.
a Remove the lower ball joint bolt (3) .
a Remove:
