AUTOMATIC PARKING BRAKE
LONG CHASSIS
a Refit the control unit.
a Position the brake cables in the position marked during
removal.
a Connect the control unit wiring.
a refit:
- the luggage compartment trim,
- the brake cables to the callipers.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a If fitted to the vehicle, refit the emergency handle
(see 37B, Electronic parking brake, Emergency
handle: Removal - Refitting, page 37B-1) .
a Connect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery).
a Switch on the + after ignition feed.
a Activate the handle several times to adjust the brake
cables.
a Write the data saved before removal using the diagnostic
tool (see Fault finding - Replacement of
components) (37B, Electronic parking brake).
a Clear the faults using the diagnostic tool.
