REMOVAL<br />

a Disconnect the battery, starting with the negative<br />

terminal.<br />

a Remove the grey start of travel switch (2) by turning<br />

it a quarter of a turn.<br />

a Disconnect the connector from the switch (2) .<br />

a Remove the green end of travel switch (3) by turning<br />

it a quarter of a turn.<br />

a Remove:<br />

- the lower left-hand cover (see (see 5, Mechanisms<br />

and accessories) ),<br />

- the air duct (1) .<br />

a Disconnect the connector from the switch (3) .<br />

a Remove the clutch master cylinder ball joint from the<br />

pedal (4) .<br />

a Disconnect the clutch pedal position sensor connector.<br />

a Remove the clutch pedal position sensor.<br />

a Remove the three clutch pedal nuts (5) .<br />

a Withdraw the clutch pedal assembly.<br />

REFITTING<br />

a To refit, proceed in the reverse order of removal.<br />

a Torque tighten the clutch pedal plate nuts (2.1<br />

daNm).<br />

a It is essential that the sensors are pulled to the end<br />

stop to position them at the minimum.<br />

The clutch pedal position sensors have an automatic<br />

adjustment function which adjusts in accordance<br />

with the position of the pedal.<br />
