MECHANICAL COMPONENT CONTROLS Clutch master cylinder: Removal - Refitting 37A JH3 or JR5 or ND0 or PK4, and LEFT-HAND DRIVE Essential special tooling Emb. 1797 24 mm socket for removing and refitting clutch master cylinder REMOVAL a Disconnect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting) (MR 370, 80A, Battery). a Remove: - the engine cover, - the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting) (MR 371, 55A, Exterior protection). a Remove: 104246 - the scuttle panel partition mounting bolts (3) , - the scuttle panel partition, - the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting) (MR 370, 80A, Battery), - the battery tray with the injection computer, - the air filter box (see Air filter unit: Removal - Refitting) (MR 370, 12A, Fuel mixture). a Drain the brake fluid reservoir using a syringe until the level is below the master cylinder supply orifice. a Remove: 104343 - the two air filter access panel mounting bolts (1) , - the air filter access panel, - the scuttle panel partition mounting bolt (2) . 37A-47
MECHANICAL COMPONENT CONTROLS Clutch master cylinder: Removal - Refitting 37A JH3 or JR5 or ND0 or PK4, and LEFT-HAND DRIVE JH3 or JR5 ND0 a Lift up clip (4) . a Pull out the clutch control pipe one notch. 101701 102513 a Apply pressure to the clip (5) manually, whilst pulling on the pipe. WARNING Do not pull the clip. If it is incorrectly handled in any way, the pipe will need to be replaced. a Pull out the clutch control pipe one notch. 37A-48
