Vacuum pump: Removal - Refitting

a Refit:
- the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting)
(MR 364, 80A, Battery),
- the engine cover.
a Unclip the harness at (9) .

a Remove:
- the vacuum pump bolts (10) ,
- the vacuum pump.
REFITTING
a Be sure to replace the vacuum pump seal.
a Proceed in the reverse order to removal.
a Torque tighten:
- the vacuum pump bolts (21 Nm),
- the diesel pipe retaining bracket bolt (14 Nm).
a Refit the battery tray with the injection computer support.
a Fit the wiring harness.
a Refit:
- the wiring harness nut,
- the battery tray bolts,
a Tighten to torque the battery tray bolts (21 Nm).
a Fit the wiring harness.
a Refit the turbocharger regulation solenoid valve on
the air filter unit.
a Fit:
- the wiring harness to the battery negative terminal,
- the wiring harness for the computer connector.
a Connect the injection computer connectors.
