Brake servo non-return valve: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL
a Remove the engine covers.
a Undo the air duct clips (1) .
a Remove the air duct (2) .

a Disconnect the vacuum pipe on the brake servo side
(3) on the brake servo.
a Pull and turn the non-return valve to release it from
the rubber sealing washer.
Note:
Do not damage the vacuum tube on the plenum
chamber. If it is damaged, the plenum chamber
will have to be replaced.
a Disconnect the vacuum pipe on the inlet distributor
side (4) .
REFITTING
a Check the condition of the sealing washer and the
non-return valve.
a Replace any faulty parts.
a To refit, proceed in the reverse order of removal.
