REFITTING<br />

a Bleed the brake circuit (see 30A, General information,<br />

Brake circuit Bleeding, page 30A-2) .<br />

a Connect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting)<br />

(MR 370, 80A, Battery).<br />

a Adjust the brake pedal position switch (see 37A, Mechanical<br />

component controls, Brake pedal<br />

switch: Removal - Refitting, page 37A-31) .<br />

a Check the following dimensions before refitting:<br />

- for left-hand drive vehicles: (X1) = 163.7 mm,<br />

- for right-hand drive vehicles: (X1) = 133.2 mm.<br />

a Proceed in the reverse order to removal.<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

Check that the connecting shaft between the<br />

brake servo pushrod and the brake pedal is locked<br />

in place.<br />

a Torque tighten:<br />

- the servo mounting nuts (21 Nm),<br />

- the brake servo mounting bolts (21 Nm),<br />

- the gear lever sheath mounting bolts (21 Nm).<br />

a Refit:<br />

- the master cylinder (see 37A, Mechanical component<br />

controls, Master cylinder: Removal - Refitting,<br />

page 37A-1) ,<br />

-the air filter unit and the injection computer (see Air<br />

filter unit: Removal - Refitting) (MR 370, 12A,<br />

Fuel mixture),<br />

-the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal -<br />

Refitting),<br />

- the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:<br />

Removal - Refitting) (MR 371, 56A, Exterior equipment),<br />

- the engine cover.<br />
