This procedure is for the TRW brake servo.
WARNING
Prepare for brake fluid outflow, to prevent damage
to the mechanical parts and bodywork around the
braking system.
REMOVAL
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (MR 370, 02, Lifting equipment).
a Remove:
- the engine cover,
- the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (MR 371, 56A, Exterior equipment),
- the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting)
(MR 370, 80A, Battery),
-the air filter unit and the injection computer (see Air
filter unit: Removal - Refitting) (MR 370, 12A,
Fuel mixture).

a Unclip the vacuum pipe (1) from the air inlet duct.
a Disconnect the oil vapour rebreathing pipe (2) .
a Undo the clip (3) securing the air inlet duct on the
turbocharger.
a Remove:
- the air inlet duct,
- the clip (4) .
a Remove the master cylinder (see 37A, Mechanical
component controls, Master cylinder: Removal -
Refitting, page 37A-1) .
