This procedure is for the TRW brake servo.<br />

WARNING<br />

Prepare for brake fluid outflow, to prevent damage<br />

to the mechanical parts and bodywork around the<br />

braking system.<br />

REMOVAL<br />

a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:<br />

Towing and lifting) (MR 370, 02, Lifting equipment).<br />

a Remove:<br />

- the engine cover,<br />

- the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:<br />

Removal - Refitting) (MR 371, 56A, Exterior equipment),<br />

- the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refitting)<br />

(MR 370, 80A, Battery),<br />

-the air filter unit and the injection computer (see Air<br />

filter unit: Removal - Refitting) (MR 370, 12A,<br />

Fuel mixture).<br />

a Unclip the vacuum pipe (1) from the air inlet duct.<br />

a Disconnect the oil vapour rebreathing pipe (2) .<br />

a Undo the clip (3) securing the air inlet duct on the<br />

turbocharger.<br />

a Remove:<br />

- the air inlet duct,<br />

- the clip (4) .<br />

a Remove the master cylinder (see 37A, Mechanical<br />

component controls, Master cylinder: Removal -<br />

Refitting, page 37A-1) .<br />
