WARNING<br />

Take care not to insert the tool between the unlocking<br />

mechanism and the screw head.<br />

This could lead to the destruction of the emergency<br />

spare wheel winch mechanism.<br />

REMOVAL<br />

a Lower the luggage cover (if necessary).<br />

a Remove the floor carpet.<br />

a Tilt the rear right-hand seat to base position (if necessary).<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

To remove the emergency wheel:<br />

- do not work on an inspection pit,<br />

- do not lift the vehicle.<br />

a Remove the blanking cover.<br />

WARNING<br />

Do not use an air tool.<br />

a Loosen the bolt (1) .<br />

a Press the emergency spare wheel lock.<br />

a Rotate the emergency spare wheel lock a quarter of<br />

a turn.<br />

a Remove the emergency wheel.<br />

a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see 02A, Lifting<br />

equipment, Underbody lift).<br />
