Bill Delaney lives in Capitola, CA, where he does genealogical research. Pat and Thea Bannon moved to Breezy Point, Queens, and will look for a new residence in New York or Connecticut. John Githens enjoys living and translating in New York City. Bob Goodman practices law in New Jersey and he and Andrea brought to the Reunion great photos of our high school years. Vinny Malito and Pat Filiberto brought a student-signed 1955 Yearbook, which we all enjoyed. Peter and Tereza McNamee enjoy Menlo Park, CA, where Peter is a co-founder and director of SmartOrg, Inc. Ned Murphy, S.J., directs POTS (Part of the Solution), which assists the needy in the Bronx. In April, John and Judy Morriss visited Italy; in August, Ireland (45th wedding anniversary); and in September, Spain. Joe Murray enjoys retirement in Whitestone, NY, along with parenting and grandparenting. In May, Charley Meehan visited England to join American friends from Israel and Holland and also visited York and Oxford. George Royall lives in McLean, VA, where his son was married in June. Chuck and Mary Ann Vaughan enjoy life in Cary, NC. Ron and Bev Polant brought a book of Ron’s paintings containing land and sea scapes. Bill and Lillian O’Leary enjoy Sarasota, FL, where Bill owns and operates a sailing school and restaurant. John Pelletieri and his wife enjoy Manhasset, NY; John continues to practice medicine. Herb and Jan Raymond enjoy life in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Joe Ramos is Dean of the School of Economics and Business at the University of Chile. Apart from the professional achievements of the Class, it was soul-stirring to observe the ‘55ers obvious devotion to God, Church, country, and family; their conviviality and camaraderie; their ever present sense of humor; and their lifelong sense of duty, honor, and responsibility. Hannaway, 67 Ridge Rd., New Rochelle, NY 10804, hannawayjj@aol.com Jim Cox reports that his last day of work as a local veterans employment representative with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry was June 17. Jim has worked there nearly 35 years. He says he has an endless list of unfinished chores to start his retirement. Fr. Pat Ryan, S.J., will return to New York in August to fill the new position of vice president for university mission and ministry at Fordham University. He leaves Loyola Jesuit College in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, after six years as president of that Jesuit high school. Fr. Peter Schineller, S.J., who also has served in Africa for many years, will succeed Pat as president of the nine-year-old school. Jack Hannon has retired as General Counsel, American Rivers, Inc., and is enjoying his new role as a first-time grandfather to Anna Klimenko, born February 18, 2005. Patrick C. FitzPatrick is now fully retired and is taking up his life-long wish to learn how to play the piano. 1958 Gerard M. He just finished the new Actex Study Guide for the exam of the Society of Actuaries. Eileen Flood Thomas Flood ‘85 Pat Bannon ‘85 and Susan Bannon at the class of 1985’s 20th reunion on April 16 2005. 1959 Leo F. Tymon, Jr., 6 Greenwood Rd., Mountainside, NJ 07092, lftymon@msn.com Rich Loeffler and a St. Peter’s College classmate took a river boat trip in Germany this past March. They had some ice problems in the locks, so Rich suggested that warmer weather would have been a better choice. He’s also considering a trip to Fatima, Portugal in the fall. Meanwhile, he keeps busy with his grandchildren and volunteer activities. His younger daughter is starting nursing school this September. Rich Olszewski notes that his wife has been diagnosed with cancer and was treated at Sloan Kettering earlier this year. His daughter is the assistant manager at the flagship Home Depot store in Brooklyn, and her picture

His son just celebrated his first birthday. Mike Shef on the mend after falling on the ice at home during a March storm. He tore the quadriceps and had a small fracture of the knee-cap He had to work from home while the New York law office in which he is a partner split from its Texas headquarters and merged with Trautman Sanders LLP, an Atlanta based firm. Frank Figlozzi reports the birth of his first grandchild last December. A busy winter and spring for the O’Leary family; two daughters married (December and February) and their son engaged on Valentine’s day. They are also expecting their second grandchild. Dan still commuting from Southampton LI to his Chicago law office. Marty Gavin reports that Chris Daly is now toiling at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Marty’s wife now almost fully recovered from last year’s accident. Leo Tymon visited San Francisco in May for the wedding of his younger daughter Severine. 1962 Carl P. Tweedy, Jr., 26 Huron Rd., Floral Park, NY 11001, john.tweedy@verizon.net 13 classmates and 11 spouses spent an enjoyable evening at O’Reilly’s Pub and Restaurant in Manhattan May 14th for our 42nd reunion dinner. Tim and Hyon O’Brien got the award for the longest distance, coming all the way from Seoul, Korea. John and Bernice Sesody came in second, traveling from Phoenix, AZ. Bernice has recovered from some very serious illness over the past few years so we were happy to see her doing well. Also attending were Jim Trezza, Jack and Pat Prael, Tom Mullaney, John Timm and his wife Jeanne, John and Denise Stack, John and Pat Tweedy, John and Trudi Kelly, John Tuccillo and his wife Jane, Kevin and Mary Ellen Morris, Fred and Jill Kuehn, and Ken and Mary Lynch. Tim and Hyon O’Brien recently moved from Hong Kong to Seoul. Tim joined the Korean law firm Shin & Kim in March, 2005 as senior foreign legal consultant after completing 25 years with Coudert Brothers in New York and Hong Kong. They came to New York for their daughter Jane’s graduation from NYU Law School, the third birthday of granddaughter Esme, and most importantly, the Class of ‘63 dinner! Bob Kelly notes that he is enjoying teaching software engineering and information systems at Monmouth University and Stevens Institute. Len Smiley is still teaching in Anchorage and invites any classmates traveling to Alaska to visit him. Dennis M. Ken will be writing and reading in the land of poet-warriors, and may even do something gainful himself, if he can tear himself away from the visions of the Wicklow Mountains and the Blessington Lakes. 1965 George T. Joseph Featherstone was recently awarded the Borough President’s Declaration of Honor Award due to his efforts and achievements on behalf of persons with disabilities, most visible through his service in the Special Olympics. 1966 James E. Maguire, 419 Third Ave., #4D, New York, NY 10016, jmaguire@courts.state.ny.us Rick Service is recovering nicely from cancer surgery and without major interruption to his divinity studies at General Theological Seminary in Chelsea (NYC) in preparation for ordination to the Episcopal priesthood. His son, Tim, is engaged and teaching high school in Maine. Jim Mullany is traveling to China working on a venture that will bring children’s and lifestyle programming to Shanghai. According to Lemoine classmate Terry McDonough, Jim is also deeply involved in pulling together Lemoine’70s 35 th reunion. Tom Sullivan, his wife Patricia, and their youngest son, now in high school, have moved back to Albuquerque where Tom is now serving as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Coalition of School Administrators. This is a natural step for Tom who was voted Superintendent of the Year two years ago by his peers serving as superintendents of New Mexico’s eighty-nine school districts. Terry McDonough is alive and well and in Ada, Michingan (close to the Grand Rapids) with his wife and youngest child, now a college student. His insurance business is doing well and if it continues to thrive, Terry hopes that he will be joined in the business by the oldest of his three children, currently living back East. Vinny Hevern, SJ, will be living at Holy Cross and working on a book at Clark University in Worcester, MA during a sabbatical leave from Le Moyne during the 2005- 2006 academic year. William H. Mulligan Jr. was awarded the 2005 Murray State University Board of Regent’s Award for Teaching Excellence. He was also appointed newsletter editor for the American Council for Irish studies, and had an article in the Tipperary Historical Journal in 2004. Larry Sheerin writes: I guess the one season of the year for shutdown and hibernation is the winter. (Remembering hiberna from J.Caesar!) NOPE! This winter we have exploded with two new grandchildren Sean Patrick Irwin was born on Jan 15, 05 and Katherine Rose Mayer was born on Mar 6, 05. Mothers and children and especially grandparents are doing fine! Sean joins his brother Brendan Jones Irwin who will enter the two’s on May 7. Can’t wait to see what next winter brings! Charles Webel writes: My latest book, Terror, Terrorism, and the Human Condition was just published in the UK and the rest of the world by Palgrave-Macmillan. I will be traveling to Cape Town in June to deliver a lecture at the International Society of Theoretical Psychology.
