NOTIFICATION<br />
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the<br />
Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby makes the following rules<br />
further to amend the Rajasthan Computer Sate and subordinate Service Rules, 1992,<br />
namely :-<br />
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan<br />
Computer and Subordinate Service (Amendment) Rules, 2008.<br />
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official gazette.<br />
2. Amendment of Part-IV.- In Part IV of the Rajasthan Computer State and<br />
Subordinate Service Rules, 1992, -<br />
(i) the existing rule 17 shall be substituted by the following, namely:-<br />
"17. Competitive Examination.- Competitive examination for direct<br />
recruitment to the posts in the service shall be held by the Commission, in<br />
accordance with these rules."<br />
(ii) The expression "Commission/Appointing Authority" or "Commission/Appointing<br />
Authority as the case may be," wherever occurring shall be substituted by the<br />
expression "Commission".<br />
(iii) the expressions "them/it" or "they/it "wherever occurring shall be substituted by<br />
the expression "them" or "they", respectively.<br />
(iv) the expressions "their/its" wherever occurring shall be substituted by the<br />
expression "their".<br />
