In addition to custom consultation to meet highly unique needs,

• API workshops and certification includes everything needed
to be successful with the SirsiDynix Symphony® API such as
software, training and custom API programming services.
• Consulting workshops are available to help you do everything
from streamlining your acquisitions process to customizing the

• Our SureStart program is designed for libraries new to

Go-Live Consulting Visit
The Go-Live Consulting Visit provides you with a senior SirsiDynix
consultant on-site for three days of your go-live week. Having an
expert on hand at this crucial time to answer questions from library
staff, assist the system administrator, and shadow your team through
new patron request processes ensures that the day-to-day tasks
involved with using your software are launched easily.

Product Overview
The Go-Live Visit is less structured than formal training sessions, so questions are addressed on the spot as they
come up. The actual activities during the visit are determined primarily by the site administrator. Go-Live Visits
are not included in the SureStart consulting package, but are a highly recommended optional purchase.
SureStart Telephone Consulting
The SureStart service, which usually begins at the go-live period, maximizes the value of your SirsiDynix
integrated library system. By connecting you with a seasoned consultant with expertise in SirsiDynix systems,
your transition will be smoother.
During the implementation phase, your library chooses the SureStart program that best suits your needs,
from three to 12 months of consulting calls that move from weekly to monthly. You set the agenda items for
each consulting call to ensure that the content covered is exactly what you need. By sharing your questions
and concerns before the call, your consultant can provide researched responses to make the most of your time
together.
SureSailing Consulting Services
Not currently completing an implementation but want the SureStart service? As an experienced user of your
SirsiDynix ILS, you can take advantage of SureSailing consulting services to propel your library to the next
level of empowerment with your system, delivering streamlined processes and functionality to your staff and
enhanced service to your users.
The SureSailing package provides your library with:
• A dedicated SirsiDynix consultant who is an experienced librarian
• Guidance in evaluating, planning and executing your library’s more challenging projects
• Four to 12 two-hour consulting calls, scheduled according to your needs and goals, over the course of one
year
• Informed guidance from someone who knows your library, your SirsiDynix system, and emerging library
technologies that complement your existing functionality and capabilities.
