was established
specifically as an

debate on the urban
development policies
of the world’s great
cities.
The congress, which
since 2011 has
brought together the
leaders of the world’s
leading metropolitan
centres in Moscow
for three days, is
promoted by the
Moscow Government,
sponsored by the
Urban Land Institute
(ULI) and curated
by the prestigious
Strelka Institute
School for Media,
Architecture
and Design,
founded in 2009
and immediately
combined with OMA,
which from the start
has been responsible
for the cultural
programme.
