Located off Interstate 380 at exit 13, airport exit. Then 1/2 mile east to stop sign, then 1 mile north to stop sign on Kirwood Blvd, then 1/2 mile east on 76th Ave. SW. Hotel Accomodations Econo Lodge 319-363-8888 Herd Health All sale cattle will have health papers, & bred females will be preg-checked. Buyers of bred cattle have 21 days following the sale to re-pregnancy check their purchase(s). If any animals are found open within 21 days, you must notify Bob at once for an adjustment to be made. EPD’s Please note that EPD’s may change from the time of sale till the registration papers are transferred. Registrations Please leave all transfer information with the Sale Clerks at the completion of the sale. Terms & Conditions All cattle will sell under the suggested sale terms & conditions of the American Simmental Association. All announcements from the sale block take precedence over the sale catalog. Also a supplement sheet will be available sale week that will contain updated information on the lots entered in this sale catalog. The terms of payment are cash or good check (with proper ID, i.e. drivers license) as well as Visa or Mastercard made payable to the Sale Clerks. If you choose to use a credit card you will incur a 3% service charge which will be applied to the total sale cost (thus a $1000 heifer will cost you $1030). No cattle will be loaded until approved by the Sale Clerks. Liability Anyone attending the sale attends at their own risk. Sale Management, Select Showcase Simmental Consignors, Kirkwood Community College Representatives, and the sale personnel will not be held responsible for injury or loss for those attending the sale. Assistance will be given in loading and shipping cattle, but no risk is assumed by any party associated with the sale. Absentee Bidding If you will not be able to attend the sale and would like to purchase cattle. Please call one of the members of the Sale Management team a day in advance in order to receive your bidders number. Livestock Transportation No cattle will be loaded until the completion of the sale. We will be happy to assist with arranging delivery of purchases to your farm or a convenient location. Greg Miller will be available to haul cattle, as room permits. To put cattle on his trailer please let either the sale clerks or Greg know your intentions. Greg’s cell is 608-778-8785.
