As we celebrate the start of a new decade, we look back with pride on the many
successes of Boca Raton Community Hospital and look forward to new and enhanced
programs and services that will benefit our community.
We have you to thank for that, because many of our achievements are made possible
by your philanthropic generosity. Because of your support, we have the peace of mind of
knowing that, should a loved one experience a medical emergency in the middle of the
night, expert medical care is standing by, ready to assist. We know that we have Florida’s
top rated cardiac surgery program right here at Boca Raton Community Hospital’s Lynn
Heart Institute, where our physicians are performing the same innovative procedures that
you’ll find in major cardiac centers across the nation. The Lynn Cancer Institute is one of the
largest cancer programs in Florida, with some of the world’s most advanced imaging and
treatment technology and physicians who are nationally and internationally renowned.
Gifts to the BRCH Foundation support these and other life-saving programs. In recent
years, the Foundation has been impacted by the sluggish economy and the uncertainty
surrounding the hospital’s future. Today, however, the Hospital is back on firm footing
and the Foundation reports a record number of gifts as it actively reaches out into the
community to build awareness, re-instill confidence, engage new donors and supporters
and generate excitement and appreciation for the health care excellence that is available at
our community hospital.
Jerry Fedele, our president and CEO, has brought a new energy to the Hospital. He
is steadfast in his belief, confidence, and commitment to BRCH, and we are proud to
announce that he has accepted the president and CEO position on a permanent basis. We
are fortunate to have his leadership and vision as we look toward the future.
The philanthropic spirit of this community has supported our hospital for almost half
a century, and is inextricably linked with our ability to provide top quality care. Today,
more than ever before, we need your continued support and commitment. We take this
opportunity to thank you for helping to make life saving care possible – for all of us, when
