governments take numerous steps to modernise and expand the existing infrastructure.
The flagship projects in the field, both completed and planned, include:
• HEVELIANUM Centre – adaptation of the historic military complex to accommodate
a centre of education and recreation in Gdańsk,
• amber route – reconstruction of a Roman trading post in Pruszcz Gdański;
• extension to the National Museum in Gdańsk,
• modernisation of the Forest Opera in Sopot,
• erection of an early Mediaeval stronghold in Sopot,
• construction of the Gdynia City Museum and the Polish Navy Museum in Gdynia,
