operate from the Gdańsk Metropolitan Area. A vast majority, that is more than 104 thousand,
represent businesses owned by natural persons who have taken their chances
starting independent businesses. The metropolis has been chosen domicile by over
15 thousand equity-based companies, including listed joint stock companies.
