READ LABEL CAREFULLY BEFORE USING <strong>ASSIST</strong> <strong>RED</strong> <strong>DYE</strong>This product must not be used for any purpose, or in any manner, contrary to the label unless authorized under appropriate legislation.HAZARD CLASSIFICATION: 6.1D, 6.9B, 8.2C, 8.3A, 9.1C, 9.2C, 9.3CCORROSIVEDanger - This product is corrosive and may cause eye damage and skin burns.TOXICITYHarmful - May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin.May cause organ damage from repeat oral exposure at high doses.ECOTOXICITYHarmful to aquatic organisms, soil organisms and terrestrial vertebrates.Avoid contamination of any water supply with chemical or empty container.HANDLING PRECAUTIONSSTORAGEKeep out of reach of children.Store in accordance with NZS 8409 Management of Agrichemicals.Store in original container tightly closed in a locked, dry, cool, well ventilated area away fromfoodstuffs, fertilizers and seeds.Stores containing 1000lt of <strong>ASSIST</strong> <strong>RED</strong> <strong>DYE</strong> are subject to signage and secondarycontainment. More than 1000lt require emergency response plans.PERSONAL PROTECTIONAvoid contact with skin, eyes and inhalation of spray mist.When mixing and applying wear protective clothing such as impervious gloves, eyeprotection, face shield, overalls and boots.Wash splashes of concentrate from skin and eyes immediately.Remove protective clothing and wash hands and face thoroughly before meals and afterwork.Do not eat, drink or smoke while using.EQUIPMENTApply using well maintained and accurately calibrated equipment. Flush equipmentthoroughly with clean water after use.RECORD KEEPINGRecords of use as described in NZS 8409 Management of Agrichemicals must be kept.DISPOSALTriple rinse container and add rinsate to spray tank. Triple rinsed containers containing theAgrecovery logo on the label and that are free of all residues and have an intact legible labelmay be taken to an Agrecovery collection site for disposal. Otherwise crush or puncture andbury in an approved landfill. Do not burn container. Do not use container for any otherpurpose.Dispose of product only by using according to label directions or dispose of safely at amanaged landfill.SPILLAGEIn case of spillage, wear appropriate protective clothing and prevent material fromentering waterways. Exclude non-essential people from the area. Contain liquid spills andabsorb with inert material such as soil or sand and place in waste containers. Wash areawith water and absorb with further inert material. Dispose of waste safely in an approvedlandfill.EMERGENCY RESPONSEIn transport emergency call 111, Police or Fire Brigade. For 24hr specialist advice in anemergency only call 0800 CHEMCALL (0800 243 622).Agrecovery is available on HDPE containers of 60 litres or less only.SAFETY DATA SHEETIf additional safety information is required, refer to the Safety Data Sheet. For a copy contact thecustomer centre on 0800 100 123.TRANSPORTDo not carry <strong>ASSIST</strong> <strong>RED</strong> <strong>DYE</strong> on a passenger service vehicle.FIRST AIDIf swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. For advice contact the National Poisons Centre 0800POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately. If skin or hair contact occurs, removecontaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water. If contact with eyes occurs,wash out immediately with running water for 15 minutes.GENERAL DIRECTIONS<strong>ASSIST</strong> <strong>RED</strong> <strong>DYE</strong> is a spray marker dye for adding to spray solutions for easier identification oftreated areas to avoid unnecessary overlapping and help prevent missed areas.Wash out spray equipment thoroughly after use. If product residue is left in equipment, colourationof subsequent sprays can be expected.DO NOT allow concentrate, solution or spray drift to come into contact with desirable surfacessuch as motor vehicle paint work.RATE OF USEUse the higher rate if more intense colour marking is required. If terrain is difficult to mark or agreater intensity of colour is required increase the concentration of <strong>ASSIST</strong> <strong>RED</strong> <strong>DYE</strong> in the spraysolution. Experimentation for individual users will establish an economic rate for application.KNAPSACK1.5-5ml per 10lt waterHAND GUN or BOOM SPRAYING15-50ml per 100lt waterMIXINGAdd <strong>ASSIST</strong> <strong>RED</strong> <strong>DYE</strong> to water in the spray tank first, agitate or mix thoroughly before adding anyother product.COMPATIBILITYUnder most circumstances <strong>ASSIST</strong> <strong>RED</strong> <strong>DYE</strong> is compatible with most pesticides including brush weedherbicides. Several factors can affect this and therefore it is recommended that on site compatibilitytests are carried out prior to using this product.SHELF LIFEWhen stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years fromthe date of manufacture. Contact your supplier for further information about the use of anyproduct that is older than this.WARRANTY AND LIMITATIONIMPORTANT: Read this notice before opening the container.The registrant warrants that when packed the active ingredient of this product is as specified onthis label within accepted analytical tolerances. The registrant gives only those other warrantiesthat are required by law in relation to this product and limits its liability to the cost paid by theclaimant for the product. The registrant declines all liability for damage resulting from thehandling, storage or use of this product.The user bears the risk from the handling, storage or use of this product.
