No tender shall be considered if the contents are erased, illegible oroverwritten. Any minor corrections should be scored and rewritten under theinitials of the tenderer. As far as possible tender should be without anycorrections.3. The tender notice, tender form and details of terms & conditions, specificationof each item can be downloaded from the University website www.mafsu.in.The tenderer who downloads the tender form from the website should note thatthe downloaded tender form will not be accepted without the cost of the tenderi.e. Rs1000/- ( Rs One Thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft4. The tender should be accompanied with the EMD at the rate of 1% of thevalue of the item quoted by the tenderer. The EMD will have to be depositedin the form of DD/ Bankers Cheque of Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of‘PAO,HQ NVC.Nagpur. . EMD exemption will be given if the validcertificate is enclosed5. The Earnest Money deposited by the tenderer shall remain in the safe custodyof the Associate Dean, NVC,Nagpur until the acceptance of the tender is madeknown to the tenderer and in case, his tender is accepted until the tenderersigns the contract and gives the necessary security deposit. In case ofunsuccessful tenderers, the amount of EMD will be refunded soon after thedecision is finalized, on submission of plain application.6. The intending supplier shall also have to mention the name ofmanufacture/make, model of the article and has to enclose thepamphlets/pictures/information brochures of the appliances for which the ratesare quoted. In the absence of the above, the items offered may not beconsidered. The preference will be given to (a) Manufacturer, (b) AuthorizedDealers of manufacturer or (c) authorized suppliers. Such agencies mustenclose adequate documents to prove their claims. The preference will begiven to the items bearing ISI/ISO 9000 quality control mark for the laboratoryequipments/ instruments.7. All the articles will have to be supplied FOR TVCC, NVC, Nagpur. Thesupplier should note that the rates should be inclusive of VAT, excise duty,octroi, packaging, loading and unloading, forwarding, transportation,installation, insurance etc.
8. The College has adopted two envelop system superscripted thereon as‘ENVELOP 1 : TECHNICAL DETAILS” & “ENVELOP 2 : FINANCIALDETAILS” which should be kept a larger sealed packet / envelope. The largerouter cover should indicate Tender Number, Name of the equipment andopening date on the top of the right hand corner. The technical details inenvelop A will be opened on 28.03.2013 at 14.30 hrs. at first instance. Acompetent committee will evaluate the same. If the technical specifications areas per the tendered specifications, tender will be accepted. Otherwise, in casewhere the technical details (envelop 1) fails to meet the requirements, theFinancial details (envelop 2) will not be opened and the tender will be rejected.At the Second stage, financial details of only technically accepted offers shallbe opened for further evaluation and ranking before awarding the contract.9. The tender form is to be submitted in the two envelopes 1 and 2 and shouldcontain following documents –Envelope 1- Technical details:a. 1% EMD for Rs…………….. in the form of Demand Draft ofNationalized Bank drawn in favour of PAO,HQ NVC.Nagpur (EMDexemption will be given if the valid certificate is enclosed).b. Technical specifications consisting of all technical details along withcommercial terms & conditions.c. Product Literature / leaflets consist of detailed description of goodsessentially technical and performance characteristics.d. Manufacturer’s Authorization Certificate in case the tenderer is quoting asan authorized dealer/ supplier on behalf of a manufacturer.e. Copy of registration certificate of the firm.f. The authorized Dealer/ supplier should have facility of the after salesservice, repairing of the equipment, plant, machinery at the site / shop.g. Certified copy of PAN and income tax clearance certificate of last threeyears issued by Department of Income Tax.h. Documents showing capability to carry out maintenance, repair & spareparts stocking obligations.i. Certified copy of VAT/ Sales Tax/ CST certificate.j. User’s list and photocopies of the purchase order received for the saiditem during the last five years.k. Copy of firm registration certificate.l. Copy of Partnership deed if any along with the general power of attorney.m. Signed terms and conditions.
