Sealed Tender will be accepted in prescribed form only.2. The Tender is non – transferable.3. No tender shall be considered, if the contents are erased, illegible or overwritten. Anycorrections should be encircled and rewritten under the initials of the tenderer. As far aspossible tender should be without any corrections.4. Pre-bid meeting for clarification will be conducted on 20.02.2013 at 16.00 hrs inconference hall of College of Dairy Technology, Warud (Pusad). Tenderers areinformed to attend the meeting for getting clarification of the issues pertaining to thetender procedure.5. The tender will be opened on 28/02/2013 at 11:00 hrs in the Conference Hall of Collegeof Dairy Technology, Warud (Pusad) Distt. Yavatmal, Maharashtra, Pin: 445 204 in thepresence of Bidder / Bidder representative. Change in the place of opening of tender, ifany, will be communicated in advance. If required, at the time of opening the tender theAssociate Dean or Tender Opening Committee can ask for specific documents which willhave to be called for / provided at that time.6. The tender notice, tender form and detail of terms & conditions, specifications of eachitem can be downloaded from the University website (www.mafsu.in) The bidder whodownloads the tender form from the website, should note that the downloaded tenderform along with the terms & conditions will not be accepted without the cost of thetender form as per Schedule ‘A’ for each item in the form of Demand Draft drawn onNationalized Bank in the name of P.A.O., College of Dairy Technology, Warud(Pusad) ” payable at State Bank of India, Pusad branch.7. A Separate Tender Form is required for the items mentioned in each serial number.8. The College has adopted two bid systems. Therefore “TECHNICAL BID” &“FINANCIAL BID“ should be submitted separately in two different sealed envelopes,superscripted thereon Envelope A- TECHNICAL BID and Envelop B-FINANCIALBID respectively, which should be packed in a larger sealed packet / envelope. The largerouter cover/ packet should indicate Tender Number, Name of the equipment andopening date on the top of the right hand corner. The technical bids will be opened on28/02/2013 at 11:00 hrs. A competent committee will evaluate the same. If the technicalspecifications are as per the tendered specifications, only then it will beaccepted. Otherwise, in case where the technical bid fails the requirements, the FinancialBid will not be opened and the bid will be rejected. At the Second stage, financial bids ofonly technically acceptable offers shall be opened for further evaluation and rankingbefore awarding the contract.9. Each tender should be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit @ 1 % of the cost ofitem quoted by the tenderer in the form of Demand Draft of Nationalized bank in thename of the “P.A.O., College of Dairy Technology, Warud (Pusad)” payable at State6
