Sport NZ Club WoFWhat is it?The Sport NZ Club WoF (Warrant of Fitness) is an online self assessmentquestionnaire - effectively a pared down version of the facilitated Clubversion of the Organisational Development Tool (ODT).The Club WoF concept was developed on the back of suggestions fromour ODT advisory group, whereby:• RSO and Club versions of the ODT were considered too detailed andtime consuming for the average club, and• The need to streamline the demand on NSOs and RSTs time andresources in assessing and supporting clubs.

Sport NZ Club WoFWhat is it?The Club WoF was designed to help clubs self assess their strengths andweaknesses across six broad areas (or ‘modules’) of club capability:(A) Leadership(B) Planning(C) Customer focus(D) Sport delivery(E) People management(F) Sport management. There are a total of 42 questions (31 capability and 11 club profilequestions) in the self-assessment.

Sport NZ Club WoFReporting and ResourcesFollowing a Club WoF assessment respondents are asked to select fiveareas (based on their self assessment) that they would like furtherinformation on.A report is then emailed to the respondent providing information on thecomponents of good practice in relation to those five selected areas, along with links to Sport NZ resources, and the contact details of theclub’s respective NSO and RST.The Club WoF report aims to foster discussion of club’s capability ratherthan jumping to “off the shelf” recommendations or solutions to clubissues.
